On 23 October 2025, the Paris Investment Arbitration Group hosted a spirited debate on the proposition: “Is Paris a favorable seat for investment arbitration?”

Arguing in favour of Paris were Luca De Maria and Agnès Bizard, while Carine Dupeyron and Mamadou Gacko presented the case against. The exchange was expertly moderated by Prof. Mathias Audit, who guided a lively and thought-provoking discussion. The speakers brought compelling arguments, sharp rebuttals, and genuine engagement, making for an insightful and memorable debate. Our sincere thanks to all four speakers and moderator for their preparation, eloquence, and good humour.
